Every March, Brackets For Good hosts a single-elimination, bracket-style fundraising tournament in multiple cities that raises much-needed funds and awareness for nonprofit organizations of all sizes in each participating community.
Firefly Sisterhood is delighted to have the honor of participating in the inaugural competition of Brackets For Good, Twin Cities.
Sixty-four local charities are competing in the nonprofit version of March Madness. The event runs from February 26th through April 1st, with each round lasting for one week – from Friday at 8:00 p.m. to the following Friday at 7:59 p.m. Participating organizations receive one point per dollar donated. The highest point total in the bracket advances to the next round. The overall winner gets an additional $10,000 to support the work of their organization.
While Firefly Sisterhood would be thrilled to move ahead in the game, we believe all of the competitors will be winners, increasing donations and awareness of the great work they do.
Your $10 donation means 10 points for Firefly. Help us advance to the next bracket so we can serve more women with breast cancer: https://twincities.bfg.org/bracket
